Error Messages
In most Support cases an Error Message can indicate what
a problem is and where it lies. If you have an error message
try typing it into the above search box and clicking web
and google should be able to find you some help.
Windows XP Support
Got a problem in XP? Have you tried the following?
- Boot your pc using the Windows XP CD and choose the option
to use the Recovery Console.
- Press F8 during start up and try either Last Known Good
Config or Safe Mode options. |
Handy Support Tips:
Passwords should always be used
and set so that they are not obvious to you or easily
guessed. The best password are ones with numbers and
letters so why not use your Car Reg or Postcode?
Backup your data regularly because
damage or theft of your pc could mean loosing your
data. Most new PCs come
with CD or DVD burners so its very easy to backup
to disk.
Anti-Virus Software is extremely
important these days and should always be kept up-to-date.
