Is the iPhone any good?

The iPhone is arguably the most antcipated gadget ever to be released. But is Apple's new all-in-one gizmo actually any good?
If you haven't heard about the iPhone its a mobile phone come mp3 player with internet and e-mail functions as well. So it doesn't sound much different to most new mobile phones. What makes it so special?
Well, its touch screen looks sublime and the plane shifting is very impressive; move the phone from portrait to landscape and it will redraw the display. Apple are saying its the best ipod they have ever done and with features like the 3D album carousel its easy to see why.
But there are a few niggles with it; there's no keypad and the touchscreen keyboard is slow and hard to use. The web browser does not support Flash or Java so some web pages won't look half as good. There's also no syncing with your pc, so it won't be replacing your PDA.
